4c Srl produzione circolare

4c Srl – Our commitment to ever wider circular production

We have often told you how much we of 4c srl let's pay attention to choice of plastic materialsfor our productions; today we would like to share with you our choices and future projects concerning the circular production.

Circular production it is a concept that is becoming increasingly popular within our reality and we would like to inform you that we are always evaluating new solutions to ensure that this process can become an increasingly present resource within 4c srl.

What is the circular production?

If we want to give a simple and complete definition it is the possibility of giving a second life to waste molded plastic items.

Waste plastic molded items are divided into:

  • “post-industrial waste”;
  • “post-consumer waste”.

The post-industrial waste includes all non-compliant material, returns and rejects from plastic material manufacturers, essentially all unusable plastic material that has not yet been sold to the end customer.

The post-consumer waste, on the other hand, includes processes that reach the end of their life after years of use in the private and domestic spheres and are normally disposed of as normal waste.

The circular production process allows to locate, store and send the "recyclable" plastic material to specialized companies capable of processing it and returning it in new granules that can be used to produce new processes.

4c srl to date it is engaged in the collection and storage of post-industrial plastic material and it will be among our important news the introduction of post-consumer waste collection methods starting with our most historic and important customers.

To date we of 4c srl we place ourselves positively in the face of new European ESG directives and we believe that the second life of materials deriving from the circular production process will increasingly guarantee compliance with the indices included in the sustainability report.

The new plastic granules obtained from this process, will certainly not have the same aesthetic yield as a "first life" material but they will be excellent for the production of machined in optics and use of mechanical yield.

This choice of ours fully marries the ecological, health and safety company philosophy which will allow us to obtain two important certifications by the end of 2024: the ISO14001, the Standard that represents the regulatory reference point for companies and organizations that intend to equip themselves with a Environmental Management System, and the ISO45001, the certification that is based on occupational health and safety management.
